Yes. Note that this is not simple. You have to handle many things as many =20 applications (such as applescript scripts can rely on the Finder). =20 Under OS9, I think it's the Finder which handles the Power key (to =20 display the "Do you really want to shutdown now?" dialog. Speed can also be a problem if you plan to show a folder containing =20 many items with their correct icons. Also, the Finder has many logical rules that are expected from an =20 user point.
