Earthrise software is extremely proud to announce the release of
RecipeBook 2.0. RecipeBook is a fast and easy way to organize
recipes, designed to work well with people who like to drag and drop
recipes from the internet. It is designed to work similar to the
MacOS Address Book so as to be extremely easy to learn.
Some notable features of RecipeBook:
-Easy to use, familiar interface.
-Drag and drop text clippings or files onto the RecipeBook icon to
automatically create new recipes. Put it in the dock for easy access
and the ability to add recipes at any time.
- Drag recipe text from internet recipes into the recipe text field
of a new recipe for entry in seconds. Just type in the name and any
keywords and you're set! Drag a recipe photo to the photo field for
a visual representation of the recipe.
-Free form keywords let you organize recipes the way YOU want. Add as
many as you'd like!
-Powerful search field works intuitively and it's search-as-you-type!
-"Kitchen mode" lets you see the recipe from afar to keep cooking
ingredients away from your computer and can even read recipes back to
you (Languages your computer can speak).
-Print recipes out for use when your computer isn't close by.
-Unit Converter aids you in preparing recipes written using "the
other" measuring system.
-Automatic saving of data, just like in the Address Book.
-Easy backup and restore of the database to keep your data safe.
Of course, RecipeBook is written in REALbasic and currently only
released on MacOSX as a Universal Binary. If you would like to
download it, you can do it at http://www.earthrise.biz/downloads/
