I get an invalid ms-dos function error when copying the file, and when I try to open it in Notepad, it thinks for 30 seconds and tells me to make sure the disk is inserted.

I just tried it on two other Windows machines, and everything works there. This could just be a localized problem.

Personally, I would try burning it again, just to rule out a bad burn of some files. For testing you might even copy the required files over on a flash drive or over the network, just to test it out.

Do you get the invalid ms-dos function error when copying the file, or when accessing it? What version of Windows?
