I use 'NSIS', it's an OpenSource app I've been using for a while to
create Windows Installers. It's basically a compiler that compiles a
script you write. To write the script I use another tool called 'HM NIS
Edit'. I provides some wizards and help to get you started.

Subject: Windows Installer

I develop on a mac, but I want to create a windows installer for my app.
I have a windows machine but I can barely use it. I downloaded the Inno
installer maker, but I am a bit lost. Does anyone have an example or is
there a previous post or article somewhere where I can learn how to make
an installer.

I am not doing anything too fancy - I just need to install my program
with a settings folder somewhere, and I suppose I have to deal with the
Windows registry. If Inno is not the best, I don't buying something. I
just need something simple that works well and dependably.

thanks

Greg
