I've seen a few classes for parsing iTunes' XML data file, but they all seem to be a couple years old, and intended for Mac. Any up-to- date iTunes XML parsers for Windows out there?

The XML file is the same on Mac and Windows so that should not be an issue A couple bits of advice after having done this with the built in XML reader

1) large files will hurt ... a lot ... IF you can get them to load. I have one that is 55 mb and it takes forever IF it loads at all. Most times it just crashes the application in the LoadDocument method 2) Apple's plist format is "XML" in name but in spirit it's crap to read with a program. It's XML in name only, and the spirit of XML is mostly missed. 3) using the XML reader as a SAX parser can also be slow to read and the structure (as mentioned) makes this a pain

I've been looking at lots of other options and actually have read the XML quite quickly using regular expressions in a hand written recursive descent parser

If I can read this 55mb file quickly every other file will work like lightning
