Note that this almost certainly is not a text encoding issue, but a
line-ending issue.
Note too that since line endings are not case-sensitive, you may as
well use ReplaceAllB rather than ReplaceAll, and that's likely to be
faster.
How about ReplaceLineEndings? It's available in Rb5.5 IIRC...
