What is the most appropriate SQL DB solution for the following
scenario:
RB app running on Windows and UB on a Mac
Single user, local database
Around 5000 to maybe 10,000 records tops
Easy install and accessible from all user logons in the user's
computer
From scouring the docs, looks like REALSQLdatabase is the way to go.
What do I need to know on Win and on a Mac about creating DB files
and R/W privileges on the DB file that all logon users can access
the DB when their logon is active? Seems on Win that would be in a
folder under Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data.
What's the corresponding folder on a Mac, and do I have to
specifically set rights during installation so that all users can
access the folder and files?
Thanks,
You could put it in /Users/Shared
