processor and it's layout is more sophisticated. The Formatted
Text Control is not an EditField replacement and never was
intended to be. Currently the Formatted Text Control has no
competition.
Brendan,
I find the distinction between your FTC and WordGuise rather
misleading. In addition, as far as I can possibly judge from the
demo you have put up, there isn't much a developer can do with FTC,
contrary to EditField or WordGuise. And WordGuise provides formatted
text, is an RTF control, you can set page width, line indents and
paragraph indents, and you can add pictures.
