Hi,
sometimes ago (after REALbasic 2005r1), I wrote a feature request about the
“Quick Copy” missing feature.
Since then, I believe that I receive a bug status, but I am quite sure (or I
missed the entry in the Release Notes) that this does not appears on REALbasic
(the current version is REALbasic 2006 Release 4).
For the people who do not know what I am talking about, here is an extract from
the REALbasic User’s Guide pdf (Version 5.5.3, August, 2004):
<quote>
Using Quick Copy to Insert Code
The Code Editor provides an easy shortcut for copying and pasting text. When you
hold down the Shift-Option (Shift+Alt on Windows) keys, the pointer turns into
an Eyedropper tool (<no-image-in-a-text-environment). With the insertion point
at the location of the paste, click on the term you wish to copy. It is
immediately pasted at the insertion point. This is illustrated in Figure 186 on
page 199.

Nota: you could Quick Copy a window name, a Method, Function, Property, that are
in the left part of the window (not especially in your code editor source) and
so on. You could also Quick Copy everything that is in your Code Editor window
(the code you [or someone else] wrote)...
Thanks for your answer,
Emile
PS: due to my personal situation changes, I may have missed that _IMPORTANT_
(for you and me) feature. Sorry for the eventual bandwidth waste.
