I'm trying out the SSLSocket (as a listener) for the first time today. It's not working -- whenever I try to connect to that port via HTTPS, my browser just spins and spins (in the "connected" state), and none of the events in the SSLSocket or the ServerSocket fire. This includes Connected, DataAvailable, and both Error events.
However, this is exactly the same behavior I get if I don't give the SSLSockets a certificate file and password. I wouldn't expect it to work under those conditions, but I *would* expect to get some sort of error feedback. I'm hoping that this is in there somewhere, and I'm simply overlooking it. Has anyone managed to either (a) get SSLSocket to work in listen mode, or (b) get SSLSocket to tell you why it's not working?
