here's the rub. I was opening the .bin file using stuffit ON
WINDOWS. When
I opened it with stuffit on the MAC it worked just fine. Since I
was using
parallels in a shared folder (slick for all you folks still mired
in PPC
land) I didn't think it would matter. It does! Or maybe it was
just the
Stuffit version... Or a resource fork thing... Regardless opening
the .bin
from the mac works just fine.
It's certainly a resourcefork issue, in my opinion.
