As I mentioned in my earlier reply, I'm on Mac OS.

I just realized that my application is writing out the CSS in the file
differently for my "Preview" file than for my final documents, which
explains the lack of support I was seeing in that regard. I can fix
that.

The  Reload thing has become moot now that I've switched my code to
load a temporary file rather than load a string. (It was clearing the
window in the latter case -- loading a file prevents that).

Now if only I could figure out how to tell when a link has been clicked.

On Mac:
1) The Menu item "Reload" was something new for me today. But as I
could see the HTML Viewer do not support "Reload". Reload is not the
same as load, and  the HTML Viewer only support "load" ....

3) The HTML Viewer support External CSS files, Inline CSS Elements
and Embedded CSS block.
