Should it be a bug report or feature request?

No, as far as I know, if the RBScript contains an infinite loop, it
will continue looping forever until your app exits. Especially if the
PartialRun method (which hasn't worked for years) were to disappeara,
there would be no way to protect your app from it that I can think of. This is unfortunate, since it makes RBScript an unsafe feature to
include in any production app.

But maybe I'm wrong, and there is some way to stop an errant
RBScript... I sure hope so!

Unfortunately there isn't. PartialRun has been removed in a future version, but we've made threading work transparently. It might be helpful to add a Kill to RBScript for this purpose of killing unresponsive scripts, or even a Timeout property to handle it automatically. Perhaps someone who is interested in such a feature would file a bug report?

Thanks!
