EOModeller and EOF seem like a pretty darned good pattern to try and

EOF seems to me too complex to be somehow duplicated in RB.

Just one man-year of work, I think ready to release in the first quarter of next year ;-)

The name will be DynamicDataObjects and contains a lot of "well known" stuff: DDOQualifiers, DDOEditingContext, DDODatabaseContext, ... some follows the way of thinking of EOF, some is different. At the moment I wrote the DatBaseSchema-Files (.dbs) "by hand" using oxygen, but there is a simple SchemaModeler available, although using oxgen the work is done much faster.

As an addition or better the "real" framework there will be the DynamicBusinessObjects with much, much more functionality. All classes, functionality, ... is implemented in pure REALbasic.

Btw. the first few real world applications are out and running w/o any issues.

What's left is cleaning up, a little more code documentation (read code documentation at all) and samples, tutorials, ... papers.

If you interested in more details, don't hesitate to contact me.

ciao
