Dear Brendan: I would be interested in how you do this. Could you reply with a description or with a link to a web-location where you found the information? Thanks, Tom Moore
To learn RTF start with the "RTF Pocket Guide" from O'Reilly. Then go to the RTF specification (version 1.8) from the Microsoft site. It contains the BNF that describes the RTF language. What is not explained in the specification are some of the details of what to put in the binary fields for pictures and that takes a little poking around and a some deductive reasoning. The other option is to buy the FTC (Formatted Text Control) since the RTF work I am doing will be apart of the package since the FTC needs RTF support. In the next beta of the FTC, an RTF writer will be implemented that will allow you to write out RTF data. The RTF package is not coupled with the FTC control so you could pull it out and use it without the FTC. Later on I will implement an RTF reader since it is more complicated to implement. _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe or switch delivery mode: <http://www.realsoftware.com/support/listmanager/> Search the archives of this list here: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listarchives/lists.html>
