Yes, I tried also with Fetch and Interarchy. They too cant resume an interupted 
upload to my website.
That's why I thought (and still think) that the problem could be that I dont 
have a 'real' ftp account.
As for the tech support of my hosts,  it seems to me that they dont apprecuate 
too much a certain kind of questions. Once I asked them their error-code when 
they automatically close a connection for lack of activity; I assumed it was 
the same error-code of a QUIT command, but I just wanted to be sure. It was 
clear that they didnt want to offer any answer.
