Does using the return key to close the dialog invoke some
FlushEvents calls, after pushing "Ok" and before closing the
dialog, and the sheet is allowed to take place, then the dialog
would close but waits for its new child sheet?
Just thinking aloud. Have you tried this using Message Dialog?
I was thinking to do so. Now that you asked, I just tried that.
dim b As MessageDialogButton
dim m As MessageDialog
dim w As Window2
w=new Window2
m=new MessageDialog
m.Message="Bhoo!"
m.ActionButton.Caption="Test"
m.CancelButton.Caption="Test too"
m.CancelButton.Visible=True
m.AlternateActionButton.Caption="&Test again"
m.AlternateActionButton.Visible=True
b=m.ShowModal
Same behaviour. Also, using the "Esc" key (also using command-period)
to choose the Cancel button and using command-T to choose the
Alternate button all produce the same behaviours, while clicking with
the mouse is still producing normal results._______________________________________________
