What REALbasic lacks to be successful in cross platform developement, those are things that bite me each and every time, and usually result in me having to maintain 3 sets of projects.

* Platform specifics for Property Editor.

Yes please! Having to resize/move buttons and other widgets at runtime to adhere to expectations for each platform is a royal pain. Problems related to this constantly show up in the IDE itself - see: <http://www.realsoftware.com/feedback/viewreport.php?reportid=ajzstprl>

I wonder if this could be taken a step further to have the window editor use native widgets for each platform - so long as a debugger stub is running. I realize these graphics are generated at runtime, but might as well put that stub to work ;)

Menu designer:
I dont know how many times this needs to be said, the menu designer as
it is does not cut it, I dont even understand why you bothered to have
the show Linux, Windows and Mac mode there as it does very little for
the user.

Yep, very clunky - lots of runtime tweaks required here as well.

Frank.
