Hi all,
is anyone experienced on this topic? It seems that Adobe InDesign
plug-ins and QuarkXPress XTension are "technically" developed as
shared libraries
Is there anyone who think or knows if it could be possible to
"call" Plug-ins and XTensions (using declares) within REALbasic?
If the plugins are shared libraries, then it's certainly possible.
If the plugins are compiled to PEF, then you could use PEFViewer to
poke around and see what's available to call.

No,
the plug-ins and xtensions are not compiled to PEF; they're typical
mac os x bundle with specific extensions... So there is a resource
file in the Bundle's Resources Folder and a Unix Executable file in
the Bundle's Mac OS folder... BTW, I'm creating my own plug-in or
XTension I should know everything about them...
BTW how could I address them? Which name have I to use? Their file path?
Best,
Luca
