Too bad you can't reliably mix the HTMLViewer control with any other controls... good luck getting them to play nicely in tabs or container controls!

However, if they did allow ultimately for a plugin architecture a-la Eclipse, this would be a nice community addition.

I was thinking of the rendering of 3rd-party controls and the possibility of them having interactive presentation, being live in an IDE mode.

Once that mechanism was added, it would be a small step to allow for controls to provide new UI functions to the IDE.

For example, another such control might be a graphical class browser.
