Terry, Joe,
Thanks this helps a little, but still not to my satisfaction ;-)
Anyway, I am so please with my discovery of Real Basic after so many
years of FileMaker. I am like a little boy in front of the Christmas tree!
RB is ever so clever and so powerful. I would say that FMP is so easy to
first dig into it, but then you get stuck in it without realising what
you are missing. Whilst RB is much more difficult to start with, but
when you get the logic, whaooooow!!!
Cheers, and good night (midnight gone in this side of the world).

Is there a painless way to change the Control Order in a Window? I
have some fairly busy windows (several Editfields etc…) and when comes
the time to re-order the way the user can move from field to field the
process is quite tedious (change the control order property in the
pane one by one).
In the menubar at the top of the Window editor pane there are five
control order options. Show Control order, Forward, Front, Backward and
Back.
These make it easy to re-arrange the order. If you have several
editfields, start with the one you want to make the highest and move
that to the back. Do the same for each of the other controls so that the
final one ends at position 0.
