Hi all,

REALbasic 2006 Release 4
Mac OS X 10.4.8
Simple project (1 window named wMain, some BevelButtons and one EditField)

[The bug I talk about below appears only if you double click in the error line
of the Error pane!
If you go directly to the place where the error is, that BevelButton (the first
in the Controls list) is still close!
Incredible, isn't it ?

More info: the bug appears under Windows too. I do not have errors on linux and
I forget to check]

In the IDE, Code Editor, I have one BevelButton "open", and I am working with a
different one.

a. use the "Check wMain" MenuItem,
b. get an error,
c. back to the Code Editor,
d. notice a BevelButton "open" (from the previous session when I was adding
code there)
e. close that BevelButton,
f. remove the error (I forget to add a FileType, but use one! [*])
g. use the "Check wMain" MenuItem,

h. get an error,
i. back to the Code Editor,
j. notice THE SAME BevelButton "open".
k. close that BevelButton,

I restart the operation from the point "a" (then I forgot the last error I do
not removed) and fall into the same traps:

I got MY error and the BevelButton is open.

BTW: this happens too when you try to run (Command-R) the project. [same error
from me in a different code]

Nota: The BevelButton state stays as Close once the project is correctly
executed in the IDE.

Thank you for removing that bug,

Emile

[*] In fact, the FileType was defined, but I used a different word. Just in
case it matters in the bug quest.
