botched 2007 download left me a present

Somewhat OT, but... an exe file of 0k in size is now sitting on my (Win 
XP) desktop from trying to download the new RB. I try to delete it but 
it says it is being used by another user/program, which it is not. 
Anyone know any tricks to delete this thing?
