Hi all, REALbasic 2007r1 Mac OS X 10.4.8
The demonstration is simple as is the "workaround": say you place a keyboard shortcut to a menu (in the Menu Editor), you change your mind (that is your right) and remove the character, you notice the "trouble" at that moment: the propeller character (Command) is still in the right of the MenuItem... Work-around ? Simple, uncheck the "MenuModifier" CheckBox. You're done! Since this CheckBox is set to True when the developper enter a Character in Shortcut Key, it would be nice to do the same when that EditField lost the focus a check to see if it is empty, set the CheckBox "MenuModifier" to False, check the "AlternateMenuModifier" (and also for the three Platform Specific Shortcut CheckBox: MacOptionKey, MacControlKey, PCAltKey) Of course, if I am wrong, forget it, if you think it is worth a feature|bug request, tell me. Cheers, Emile _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe or switch delivery mode: <http://www.realsoftware.com/support/listmanager/> Search the archives of this list here: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listarchives/lists.html>
