You're probably right about that, at least on the Mac. This is a REALbasic identifier you use to refer to the file type in your code, and of course RB identifiers can not contain a division operator (/)! Also, you should not leave the MacType and MacCreator empty. Set the MacCreator to your application's creator code (which you should remember to register with Apple), and set the MacType to whatever's standard for MP3 files.
