According to the Language Reference:

"On Windows, it uses GDI+, if it is available. Otherwise, it uses QuickTime. You can also save as JPEG using SaveAsPicture and using the class constant SaveAsJPEG as the optional Format parameter."

Do you have either GDI+ or QuickTime available?

Hi list,

I'm on Win XP and RB2007r1.

I just did it:

  Dim f As New FolderItem
  Dim p As Picture

  p = NewPicture(10, 10 ,32)

  f = DesktopFolder.Child("MyPicture")

  f.SaveAsJPEG p

and shows "UnsupportedFormatException"

Whta's going on with this function?

Alexander!
