As much as I appreciate your example, very good job, unfortunately I didn't manage to use it.

As I use RB2006 r4, you've used 2007 r1, therefore there must be a problem. RB sometimes quits, or once the project runs it is very buggy.

I have seen that you provide a compiled version for Windows, but not one for OS X to test.

Essentially you:
 1) convert anything you want to an xml file/ string
 2) transform that with an xsl/ template file to html
 3) optionally include xpath queries to select nodes
 4) preview the report/ invoice in an htmlviewer
5) save the report and open the default web browser to print from.

Just a (relatively) simple way to make reports/ invoices in html.
Note, this is a just quick example.
