In addition, the same thing happens in 5.5.5! ;-)

I found in my own app that press enter key or use the mouse to close a msgbox, generate not the same code execution.

Put this code in the App.Open and set default window to none.
If you use the enter key the frontmost window is the "Second window", if you use the mouse the "First Window" is frontmost.
The first window is never opened before the msg box.

<code>
  dim w as  Window1

  w = new Window1
  w.Title = "First Window"

  MsgBox "Press Enter Key"

  w = new Window1
  w.Title = "Second Window!"
 </code>

The same thing happens on my 10.4.8 G5 in Rb2007r1 PPC.

On the same hand, interrupting many events (especially open events) with MsgBoxes or Dialogs has always caused spurious results so it is nothing new.

They shouldn't be used in these events, period!
