You know that Declares are going to work but take longer. With plugins, you
trust they are going to work and take less time.

That's a pretty broad statement, Mel. I've been pleasantly working with Christian for over 3 years and his response to simple questions, and provision of new features and bug fixes is nearly instant. He provides answers on the RB NUG list as well as his own MBS-specific mailing list.

I can also vouch for the Einhuger team as being just as responsive.

While I can agree that managing the code yourself is the best way to do things if that is your wont, I also know that a reliable plugin can save hours, if not days, of research and trial and error coding. Me? I'll use the plugins.
