You're right.

I was just responding to your phrase:
"Keydown will only work with ascii 0-127 characters and PrintScreen falls out of that range." by meaning that PrintScreen actually is in the range.

Not when you consider the ASCII meaning of Chr(16), DLE or Data Link Exchange. Since all Function keys return that (if not overridden by software) then it really doesn't help much. On a windows machine the equivalent keys for Mac's F13, F14 and F15 still produce distinct Keycodes that can be read. They can even be used as Menu shortcuts now.
