Hi all,

I'm not sure what version had this issue, but it must be something 2005.x or early 2006.x than I never happened again and now it's back.

I remember I copied the parameters from a method, nothing more. When trying to run I got a disaster, everything seems to be on drugs, nothing more as expected. I checked so much things, debug, ... and after a hour I went back to backup. OK, restart, copying the arguments from the method -> debug -> everything seems broken. Second roll back.

And THEN I saw what happened, when copying the parameters and leaving the field or changing the method, or anything else the name of the method changed from "Paint" to "PaintChild". PaintChild is a method in a super-class of the class I was working on, both are not related to any class with a "internal" paint method.

At the moment I can only reproduce this error in this class and this method, nowhere else.

So be careful, when copying parameters, keep in mind, that a possible strange error is just due to "automatic method renaming"!

Does anybody have a similar experience or is this issue for the new version already in feedback system?

ciao
