1. Does your server have the capacity to handle lists this large and busy? Plenty of disk space, fast connection to the internet?
Yes. It's a dedicated x-serve machine on a fast net in a secure colocation.
a shared host, is the host owner going to get grumpy at all the bandwidth you're suddenly using?
Nope.
2. Do you have a REALbasic-related domain name, or the ability to use one if we decide to register a new one (e.g. realbasic-fans.org)?
nope. But subdomains are no problem.
3. How long has your server been around, and more to the point, how likely is it to stick around for many years to come?
I can answer the first one (it's about six years), but I will of course not be able to answer the second one... part of my income is based on the services we provide with our servers, but who knows what future brings...
4. Will your proposed mailing list be able to run without ads, or requiring membership on Yahoo/Google/etc.?
Yes. All you have to do is to bow your head if you cross a mail from me. No ads. ;-) Just kidding, but no ads is true. cheers ® _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> REAL Software has decided to consolidate this mailing list with the online Forums.
