Big tip - if you tear-off the search results tab into its own window you can have multiple search results sitting there. I don't know of any other way to accomplish this, although using BBEdit on VC format comes close (hint - setup .rbbas as a new language with VBScript colouring).

If you are happy using just the tabbed interface does that mean you have a single monitor ? :-)
