There are plenty of filtering or grouping options in email programs these days to lessen this - if it is an issue. None of which exists in forums.
99% of the traffic on the NUG never interested me - was that a problem ? No, I simply ignored or deleted stuff. No big hassle - even on days like yesterday. The only problem with mailing lists like ours imo - is the addiction factor and detraction from work :) but then that's MY problem...
