Hi All,
With Mozilla Thunderbird and the extension forumzilla-0.5.6-tb.xpi
installed you can read the RB-forum in your Thunderbird mailprogram just
as you are used to with the NUG-maillist. It's advisable to have
broadband because of the speed, but then it looks great. You can even
start a reply from the mail, this leads you to the loginscreen of the
RB-forum in your webbrowser if you aren't logged-in. If logged in you
get directly in to the message that you want to compose.
To me this works reasonably well and can replace the maillist to some
degree. I can even read the messsages by thread.
I don't know if this is also available for the Mac and for Linux (I hope
so).
I hope that this helps some people to overcome the unfortunate loss of
the maillists.
