Mine too.
But this particular little weirdness resulted in the wrong IP address
getting baked into the debug app so it could not connect back to the
actual computer whether it was Parallels or a real PC.
But if you can't even ping back and forth then I don't think anything
is going to make the remote debugger work until you can at least do
that.
Not sure if VMWare has other options for networking that might make
this work.
Parallels has 2 or 3 options and some work better than others.
I've got mine set the way it works 100% EXCEPT when I share an
internet connection and then the wrong IP address gets in the remote
app and it causes problems.
I recall spending some time on iChat with Aaron looking at a couple
issues I'd found and I thing they are resoled in the next alpha/beta
cycle but I'll have to double check it
