i'm not sure what is happening with the windows thing, i don't do windows. But i wonder if its got something to do with the bug i see on my mac. If the autoresize property is set to true on a movieplayer control it screws up the play controls. Turn it off and everything is fine. This seems to be a bug new to RB 2006. ( and maybe 207 i havent checked it yet)

feel free to send a project to me and I'll have a look. can't promise any mind but i have built my own movie controllers before.
