if I do this :

    Dim m as memoryBlock
    Dim myCstring as Cstring = "fatfreddyscat"

    m = myCstring

 when I look inside m  I see it displays the Cstring contents in the block.
  but is m just pointing to the original CString  and displaying its
contents directly or does m now refer to e NEW memoryblock with a copy of
the original Cstring contents ?
