It's hard for me to debug without running it myself, but yes, there is probably an endian issue(s) somewhere. I believe the samples are supposed to be in big endian format. Memoryblocks (IIRC) are big endian by default on the Mac and little Endian on Windows. (I could be wrong about this). So, maybe try forcing the memoryBlocks to big endian? Also, your sample rate looked like it got mangled in the process too. Not sure if this is inhibiting you.
