eSellerate's web store option provides PayPal support, so that end of the transaction is all taken care of for you. The down side of this option is that the user has to manually copy the serial number into your application. Like I said before in this thread, I use custom serial number generation and validation which frees me from the eSellerate plugin and thus allows me to build cross-platform and UB applications with no hassle and it is guaranteed to to work for the foreseeable future.
