Yes, I ran into this a week or two ago. The problem was very persistent, until I quit RB and restarted it; then it went away and hasn't happened to me again. I have no idea what caused it. Which means that it's a real problem, but may be very difficult to track down. I'm sorry to say that I didn't file a bug report, hoping that it might happen again so I could have something more useful to say about it. In retrospect, I probably should have filed it right away. The one where the problem was observed uses external items in regular (.rbo) format. From this one data point, I tentatively hypothesize that this bug only affects .rbo external items.
