Although I haven't had this happen specifically, I came across an oddity that is similar. I have a folder with the same name as the application inside it (PPC not a universal application). On some PPC Macs, when I would start the built program, I'd get an Exception Error. On other PPC Macs, it would work fine. In all cases, same OS, all in the applications folder. Change the folder name and the application works fine everywhere. Just weird.
