I heard they they want to do away with VB for Apps on Windows as well but can't 
right away because too may businesses use it.
In any case once the new univeral version of MS Office is out, while I won't 
hold my breath as it would likely be a significant project RS is not likely to 
do, it would be nice if RS created a common XPlatform (Mac/Win) API for 
communicating with MS Office using teh platform specific technology under the 
hood.

If not, perhaps that would be a 3rd party opportunity ...
