I'm trying to adapt a formerly WinXP-only program to run under OS X. The main unresolved issue is the difference between printing under XP and under OS X. Briefly, where I can at long last print reliably under XP using OpenPrinter with a stored setupstring, I cannot do this in OS X. Contrary to the example in the LR re OpenPrinter, I get no output unless I substitute OpenPrinterDialog for Openprinter, thus requiring the user to repeatedly respond to useless printer dialogs. Am I missing something here? I don't see anything in the RB feedback on this.
