Hi Thom,

I saw that too and was not alone.

Try the same on REALbasic 2007r1 for Windows and this will not happens (it does
not happens to me).

I do not wanted to talk about that until now because I do not wanted to write:
"Windows have higher priority than Macintosh" [1] (but I already says that
Linux is a second citizen class); it is a reality, but were is there something
to rant about ? If this is their first sold IDE, they do their best for their
greatest market. [2]

I also use a G4 PowerBook (15" Alu, 512MB).

The work-around is to duplicate the Control and drag it at the needed location.
Weird.

HTH,

Emile

BTW: I just recall that I reported that here sometimes ago; it must be in the
archives...

[1] I saw some other evidences of that: the Windows version does not show a bad
behavior I saw on Macintosh (PPC, not Intel Mac). Check the Slider Control for
example: behave nice on Windows, a click is fired twice on Mac OS X; same
project.

[2] I do not think that this is related to a kind of computer inside the
Macintosh platform, but this is only a feeling.

PS: I am a bit bitter on the bug front because of Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger). Even
in its 9th revision, some bugs I saw in 10.4 are still there. Worst, these are
easy to display, fully reproducible, and so on. I am not in an optimistic
feeling about their squash in 10.5. But this is a personal feeling not based on
10.5 informations 'cause I do not have any 10.5 version.
