Hi William, I've used XP Pro under Bootcamp on a 17", a 20", and a new Mac Mini with pretty good results. Of course, it was mainly for games like Starcraft (which I have found the OS X patches for), Homeworld and The Sims 2, but none of them complained about anything and Sims 2 actually played better on my iMac 17" than on my Windows XP 3200+ AMB system with a faster video card and more memory. I believe that You'll be safe both for native Mac games and Windows games under Bootcamp. As for Parallels, I've had no success with even installing a game because of incompatibilities with DirectX requirements.
