Yeah, but this is a sticky case if you only want to allow gzipped tarballs. Of course, maybe that's not a reasonable expectation -- to the extension police built into the OS, only ".gz" of foo.tar.gz is the extension; the rest can be changed without getting your knuckles rapped. So I guess you should really accept any file that has type "Gzip", or an extension of .tar.gz, .tgz, or .gz, and then you'll just have to be prepared to deal with gzip archives that aren't tarballs.
