Hi William, the List,
I may mix Apple and Orange, but the last time I checked, the current version of GTK+ is 2.9.4. Also, someone talks about GTK+ version 2.6 to get persistent Clipboard. At least, what is the GTK+ version in currently supported Linux flavors ? I re-state it: I may be wrong on the versions. Emile PS: isn't it possible to check for the last version, use it if installed, else use a lower version # ? In that case, a simple explanation - for the newbies [1] - of where to download and how to install the last GTK+ version. [1] Some people talk about ubuntu 6.10 as the widest available linux flavor - used by most of newbies because of its easy of use - and so helping them as I asked above is / goes on the right way. IMHO, of course. >Date: Thu, 22 Mar 2007 09:39:53 -0500 >From: William Yu <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Subject: Re: Linux and libraries >To: REALbasic NUG <[email protected]> > >You're not going to find it listed because we weak link to it. >Hopefully once GTK+ 2.10 becomes mainstream we'll switch over to >using their printing functions. _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe or switch delivery mode: <http://www.realsoftware.com/support/listmanager/> Search the archives: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listarchives/lists.html>
