Basically you're safe if you only have App.DoEvents (and then associated commands like Socket.Poll to make it more tricky) in your application main thread. So don't put it in RB Threads, button Action events, etc. If you do you can: - freeze your app, - crash it, - have variables contain values before your code actually assigns them to them, - and have other extremely weird symptoms like the one above.
