I concur with this statement, but we'd be talking about a completely  
new language.

Maybe an investor should buy into REAL and start a team on REALpython  
with full GUI support.  The best of both worlds - easy to learn and  
program combined with a great GUI design tool that's appropriate to  
the platform (in comparison to Tkinter).  If fact, it's the ugliness  
of Tkinter on Mac and Windows that brought me away from Python to  
REALbasic in the first place.  To get Tkinter to look like Mac, we  
were basically having to draw the controls manually.  I'm sure that  
Tkinter has progressed, but I'm very happy with the three platform  
support that RB provides (and it keeps getting better).
